Agenda

ACSC ANNUAL MEETING REGISTRATION AND GENERAL INFORMATION

Please note one major change in the schedule of the annual meeting that is different from the earlier information you received by email. The Reception and Dinner has been moved to Thursday evening, May 17, instead of Friday, May 18th as originally reported. This change was made at the suggestion of several members who wished an earlier end on Friday to accommodate travel and also to insure good attendance at the dinner.

General Information

All meetings will be held at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars at 1300 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, DC. We will meet in the 5th Floor Conference Rooms. Here is a link and map which shows the location of the Wilson Center within the larger Ronald Reagan Building. You may enter the building by either the 13th Street or 14th Street entrances. http://www.wilsoncenter.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=contact.directions

For security purposes, a photo I.D. will be required for entrance to the Reagan Building and Wilson Center.

Program presenters requiring Internet access, PowerPoint, or other computer or visual aides should alert Susan Nugent of the Wilson Center. She can be reached at: 202-691-4147 and by email at: susan.nugent@wilsoncenter.org. Please be advised that you cannot use your own laptops. Digital presentations will have to be loaded onto the Wilson Center computers for display.

Registration Procedure

Regular Institutional members with paid dues for 2006-07 can send one person to the meeting with no registration fee.

Supporting Institutional members with paid dues for 2006-07 can send two persons to the meeting with no registration fee.

Individual members with paid dues for 2006-07 can register for a fee of $200.

Non members can attend with the payment of a $250 registration fee. In this case we encourage you to join for a $50 annual individual membership and then pay $200 to register for the annual meeting.

If your institution plans to send more than the allotted number of free registrations, each additional person can be registered for $200.

Please notify the ACSC Treasurer Phil Duncan via email of the name or names of the persons attending from your institution. Phil can be reached at: pduncan@civicatalyst.com. Please give him the name or names and institutional affiliation as you want them to appear on conference name badges.

Advance payment is preferred, but you may also pay at the conference. We do need to have an accurate count of attendees for purposes of catering and dinner two weeks before the conference begins.

Send any registration fees, payable to “ACSC” or “Association of Centers for the Study of Congress” to:
