Dear Member of the Association of Centers for the Study of Congress: I am conducting a summary survey of Congressional Studies Centers to obtain baseline information on Centers for the Study of Congress, including types of funding sources for start-up projects, General (public) financial information (Overall expenses/revenues), staffing patterns and Center organization.  You as an Association member are invited to participate in the study by completing the survey below. The survey is also available on the ACSC website http://www.congresscenters.org/.  I realize that your time is valuable and have attempted to keep the requested information as brief and concise as possible. It will take you no more than 60 minutes of your time. Your participation in this project is voluntary. You may choose not to complete the survey, or stop working on it and withdraw from participation at any time without consequence. Every effort will be made to utilize only public information.  There are no known risks to you for participating in this study.  Information obtained in the study will be made available upon request, as a conference presentation, and as a publication. The possible benefits will come in the areas of planning and fundraising as comparable needs and processes are identified among the varied Centers. Your responses are strictly confidential. When the data and analysis are presented, you will not be linked to the data by your name, title or any other identifying information.
